Default Knock-Off Front Lips

Recently, someone ran into the front of my car. Considering that the front bumper now needs replaced, (on the at-fault driver's insurance tab) I figured now would be a good time to get a front lip. I would really like an authentic Amuse eurathane lip, but I don't really have the money to spend. What kind of luck have you guys had with knock-off eurathane lips? From what I've heard, even the authentic lips end up having gaps that need sealed with clear caulking, is this true?

I'm not sure but I think the knock-off Amuse lip is pretty close to the authentic one. That said I've heard the authentic one doesn't fit perfectly.

I believe SilverKnight had to used some gap filling stuff on his replica Amuse lip.

I bought a Amuse style from Spugen, and there are definitely gaps on both side. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
