Default Koni Yellow or H&R Coilover Shock and Spring Q's

Hi,

I have been looking at a shock/spring setup or coilover setup

I am planning to lower my car a bit but do not want to sacrifice handling.

I was wondering if the Koni Yellows and Either Eibach or H&R Sport springs will handle better than stock while lowering my ride a bit? Can the stiffness of the shock be adjusted?

I was also looking at the H&R coilovers but was wondering if I can alter the stiffness of the shock? I would prefer the car to be a bit more stiff in the front than the rear. Are these an improvement over stock? What can I do with the H&R's that I can not do with the other setup?

I appreciate your responses!

You know what Boosted04, I don't think that you can adjust them

Can anybody else add anything to my questions?

How do they handle? Better or worse than stock? Worth the money spent?

they are ok...... i don't track my car and don't drive very aggresive so maybe you need a diffrent opinion.I got them more for looks,to have that lowered look.

a friend of mine had an my02 with the H&R's and he had his car lowered a little more then mine(i have a finger gap all around)and he would take them damn corners pretty hard with no problems.

Peace

Sounds like it is very difficult to get a shock setup that works better than stock. I may be purchasing 18's but don't know how the car will look with the gap? Do you think I should ride high or lower it?

ask the people who you get the wheels from, they should know better then me on what height you should be good for.personally i think it looks better lowered.people on this board say that if you lower you car just an inch you shouldn't really have any rubbing issues depending on tire size and all that good stuff.
