Largest S2000 gathering
What is the largest gathering so far?
We are expecting over 50 S2000s in Lisbon on Saturday. This is quite a feat in a country where less than 300 were sold. We will even have a couple of cops to clear the road for us (true!).
Weather is expected to be sunny and we will report later with a few pictures.
Anyone from the east coast wants to join us
? There are daily flights from NYC, Boston, Miami...

Here in the States I don't think anyone has had more than 25 - 30. We have seen pictures of larger meets in Europe and Japan. It sounds like no one can challenge the percentage of owner participation you anticipate.
Bom Dia Luis,
Portugal is easy to gather most of the owners simply because it's about what less than a 12 hours driving time from north to south. My parents are both from portugal. Murtosa to be more exact...yes the backwards country but at least we're not as bad as the Alentejanos (spelling?) "Porque os Alentejanos usam pijamas quando andam de mota? Para se deitarem nas curvas!" Well hopefully i'll get to go back there this summer...haven't been there in 9 years. Good luck with your meet.

where you guys from in portugal?
i plan on going there this summer but i don't want to be confinded to staying in Murtosa. My aunt has an apartment in Pardalhas and i would probably be using my uncles car to get around. (wish i could ship my s2k with me) i would type more in portuguese but basically i've been taught at home and writing wasn't that big...i can read fine and i can speak ?(albeit...port-english) with a lot of luso-americano words but i try to work on it when i realize i'm not speaking it properly. would be cool if i could meet up with you guys when i go over there this summer. keep in touch

p.s. one more alentejano joke.
"Porque os Alentejanos se deitam com o relogio debaixo de cama? Para se levantarem em cima da hora!"
keep in mind i'm calling my native born portuguese friend for translations here since my spelling is horrible. If her spelling is bad blame her...and that would be a bad sign for the portuguese educational system =)
