Seems to me you made two bad assumptions:
1)Drunk women can't make decisions
2)Shouldn't go home with intoxicated ladies
Ponder the fact that if you had gone home with the ladies not only would you not have that ticket, but you may have enjoyed yourself !!!!!

oh and you gotta remember, Madison has one of the biggest universities in the country. College girls have a big reputation for waking up with a hangover and crying rape. I heard too many horror stories when i was in college, so i just avoid the situation to be safe.
