Thumbs up Last question about VAFCII install

UPDATED OP:

am i supposed to be able to reinstall the kick plate after getting the VAFCII harness in and the unit is up and running? the harness takes up too much space so it's physically impossible to put the kick plate back on. am i supposed to leave it off? or rearrange everything so that the harness sits flat against the wall (as of now i don't see how i can do that)?

The largest box behind the kick panel is the ecu. The 3 connectors only fit one way.

The kick panel is the flat panel that makes up the left side of the driver's foot well. It is perpendicular to the floor.

If I recall correctly...you have to remove the door sill plastic trim before you can remove the kick panel. The ecu is mounted to the wall of the footwell with the connectors pointing down.

Take of the little door sill that says "S2000". The kick panel will have the fusebox diagram on it. There are 2 pop rivots holding it on, one at the top, and one by the pedals. You can't miss the ECU from there.
