same here. love midnight drives with the top and windows down it personafies socal. it makes you wonder why more people don't own convertibles.

 

i hit topanga canyon top down all the time randomly at nights. best feeling ever leads to PCH =)

hell yeah i do it all the time! i love it, its so peaceful and quiet at night and hardly anyone out which makes it that much more enjoyable.

 

night driving ftw! however it seems you guys have some nice roads where you go to drive..
here in jersey nothing but pothole filled highways and no decent scenic routes that i know of..
if anyone in jersey has some nice routes let me know!

 

i like driving late nites too although i don't get the chance so often.

moreso i find myself making any excuse at any time of day to take the S out though

 

I do it all the time. A nice ride will sooth me and I'll get in bed after and head right to sleep. It clears my mind.

It takes a little while for me to get to the mountains here so it's usually a day time thing. They look better with the snowy peaks in the sunlight anyway.

 

It's fun driving when few people are on the road, especially in a high revving car like the S2K. The cops hiding outwith their radar guns are definitely a deterrent. Also, don't forget the late night DUIs trying to make it home with one hand over their eye and one on the wheel.
