Well, after sending enough annoying questions here I broke down and bought one. 4K above sticker and I have to fly to Alabama from Texas to pick it up. It'll be a great drive back... Thanks for everyone's answers this week.

One last question, what is the recommended break in period? Traditionally it has been 1K and not on the highway, is that still the case?

If you want to save a few bucks, it seems that there are some MSRP (or in the ballpark) deals out there. How far are you willing to travel and are looking for only Silver/Red?

Theres a bunch listed on Ebay and check Yahoo classifieds for ones in your area. 4k over MSRP is a little high. Is it 37k out the door?

All dealers in Dallas wanted 8K to 10K over. My best deal was a Y2KS2K with 3K at 35K. Had a dinged windshield too. Needed the color combo. Got it at driveoff.com (they are owned by carpoint). MSRP came with a wait everywhere else. Been married 10 years, got permission, got the car before permission expired.

Welcome to the club. Should be a fun drive home. Hopefully it will be warm enough to put the top down

Cisco,
I too had to act within my window of opportunity. Bought one off the floor, only 2k over sticker. I wish I had waited to drive one right off the truck.
