The latest mod for your 2004+
Ready for sale is my final version of the S2000 security indicator. For those that missed the development thread, I'll fill you in.
Have you ever noticed that white dot to the right of your speedo on your AP2?

That dot is actually an LED for the factory alarm system. It's built into your dash and activated when you purchase a Honda factory alarm.
Through a little ingenuity, I have fabricated a device that will activate the light for you simulating a security presence. Why would you do that? Well, while your car won't have an active alarm, the indicator can be a theft deterrent to potential thieves or vandals.
Good thieves will take whatever they want with or without an alarm. Our seats and other things have been a target of theft for years and that probably won't change. Now you can get an extra bit of security without having to pay the price of a full alarm system. For $20 the security indicator is an inexpensive alternative to a factory alarm system.

The idea is that the flashing light will discourage thieves from taking the chance that a blaring alarm will sound if they break in. No, it's not fool proof but it's a great compromise for the price. Any extra step you can take to safeguard your possesions is worth it if it helps stop just one idea of vandalism or theft. The Security Indicator simulates the factory light and has a steady pattern. The device is active as long as your ignition is off and deactivates itself once your car is on.
I know what you're thinking, anybody can strap a timer to the LED in the dash and make it blink. Well, it's a little more complicated than that with our cars. The security indicator is in it's second version and has been through lots of tests to make sure it works properly for years to come. Developed in the Modifry lab, it has the circuitry to help it integrate safely into our cars with very little effort. Also, since it was developed by Modifry, you know it's a quality product.
The end result is a tiny circuit board with just three easy to make connections.

So if you're an AP2 (MY2004+) owner and are interested in some extra security for your ride, check out http://www.s2kaccessories.com
S2kaccessories is run by Tonybell 57 on the board who is an official vendor. He has some other cool stuff as well.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I'll get the guys that already have this unit installed to post reviews. Also, even though this was developed by Modifry, please direct all questions to me since I am the one actually producing them. Bob would kill me if I got him swamped with emails

Oh, and international orders aren't set up yet on s2kaccessories. Right now, I'm limiting sales to US and Canada. PM me if you're in Canada as the shipping rates do not appear on the website. Thanks.

International Orders call for shipping?
Geeezz. Just put the price down for US/Can so we know. I would have bought one spot on. I'm not waiting for you to nickle and dime me to death.

BTW, other than canada I'm going to have to restrict international orders for a bit while I work out shipping with Tony. Thanks.
