What do you guys do to get the best launch on s2k??
Tried to launch @7k, my clutch wouldn't catch !!!

 

I think you might need a new clutch?

maybe it's the way i let go my clutch.....let go too quick at once????

i read that before, didn't really understand..........
so do u let go the clutch quickly all at once? and how do u control the gas pedal? floor all the time or wut??

 

iono how to explain it but maybe you should PM wisconsin and ask. no you dont floor it all the time, it depends. half of the time you gotta feather the gas

 

People do need some help.. I was out with my friend tuning his 03 type S and the first s2k I've EVER seen at the track ran consistent 15.5's. My friend's pos type S was running low 14's.

 

I just got back from the track 2nite first time. I launched just under 7000. Problem is clutch will not take all of that power so quickly. I kinda felt it out from experience. And then I figured it out. By the fourth time I cut a 13.9 @ 99.7. Trick is to stay in VTEC the whole time, do not fall out of the curve. The car launched like normal then I felt the clutch about to get over powered, and I left the gas right where it was(not floored). Then it all hooked up and I felt the biggest pull ever out of the S. So launch wherever you want but dont fall out VTEC, and dont burn your clutch feathering it too much.

The first few times down the track will leave you dumbfounded and scratching your head, trust me.
