Default Leaking roof

Not sure if this is the right part of the forum for this question...but

I have on 03 reg S2000 and have noticed that when it really rains then water seems to store up in seal and when i drive off it falls into the car. It happens on the passenger side just above the top of the passenger window where there is a rubber spongy bit as part of the roof seal.

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

cheers

i had this problem on my 2006. dunno if its any different for your ap1 but it was on the driver side.............................. wait... you have a euro flag... does that mean your leak is on the left side since thats your passenger side and thats my driver side???

anyway, inspect the weather strip(the rubber thing that lines the soft top and seals the window) check and compare it with the other side if its deformed. if it is, just replace it. i had dealer do mine.

The roof has a collapsible gutter built into the rubber that rubs against the windows, so I'd look and see if they are gunked up or if the edges are torn or gapped. Since you have a 2003, it may be time to dress the rubber with the shin-etsu (sp) grease too.

I too am having a problem with my seals leaking. It began with the driver's side and the same problem now occurs on the passenger side. The water leaks from right in between the seals that meet directly in the middle of the windows. I figured there had to be a gutter in the seal or something since both passenger and driver sides leak at exactly the same location.

Any ideas? I do need to shin-etsu grease my seals...
