Default Leaking Tyres

I like to keep my air pressure at around 35 psi, but I've noticed that my left front and right rear tyres will leak down to about 25 psi within a couple of days of inflation. Its very inconvenient as I need only fill up my tank every week or so. Is there something I can do about this?

Cheers,
Edward

I have a slow leak too in the right rear. I just fill it a bit every morning as it only loses about 1/2 pound per day. Those digital pressure guages are awesome. I have not tried to have anyone find the leak so I don't know where it is. Good luck.

Yeah, go to the tire shop and get the leak fixed. Tires normally will only lose about one PSI a month.

If you have aftermarket rims, check the valve stems. You might have to tighten those.

I know I don't have a slow leak in the tires, but mine do this too. I put 33 psi in all the tires and they all seem to drop to 25 within a few weeks. Not sure what's going on. I think it's justthe way the S02's are.

My left rear has been losing air at around 2psi per day for the last couple of weeks. I did the valve spittle test and yes that was the problem. After I took the valve out I noticed that the black sealing ring was split almost all the way through

This is the first time I have seen this sort of valve damage in 30 years of driving!

My SO2's don't leak. There's something wrong if they do. You may have a bead leak, a valve leak, or you've picked up a nail or screw in which the head has been worn off and you can't see it. In either case, talk it to a trusted tire shop to have it put in the "dunk tank" or have the soap spray thing done to it. (They'll know what this means.)
