For upshifting, definitely 1-2. every other shift comes perfectly natural. even 2-3 I dont have to do a neutral then up thing, I just push it slightly in the northeast direction and it slides in with no middle-ground. same with 4-5. 3-4 is my favorite as it's easy and fast.

downshifting I dont like 3-2 or 2-1.

I would have to say 1-2 but I sometime forgets there is a 6th since I drive a 5 speed as my daily driver .

2-3 is the easiest, just push it straight up... Don't attempt to push it sideways.. My least is 1-2

While i dislike shifting from 5 to 6 (boring, and if I don't concentrate, I end up doing a 5-4), 2-3 gives me more problems -- if I don't pay enough attention, I crunch gears

Try 5th to reverse, just try it... I was turning around on a two lane road, came to a quick stop in 5th, rolled halfway through the three point, tried for reverse. Locked out, had to go to another gear first.

Otherwise its any down shift out of pattern, like 5th or 6th down to 3rd. A miss-shift to first would really hurt.

Edit: 2Slow, I knew I should have posted right away, 2Slow is right.
