Default Leather sucks.

Ok so I installed something the other night and in order to do so.. I had to kneel on the driver seat for balance...and next thing I know... I hear a ripping of fabric-like noise and it freakin tore! Mind you, I'm only like 105 lbs of pure guns and muscle so, I don't even know what happened!!!?!

The seam is torn but nothing else ripped... so, where do I get this fixed? Or would I have to buy a new seat?

I'm 175lbs and i've kneeled on the seats in order to clean the windshield before, but nothing like you happened.

Well, that's probably because of my GIANORMOUS GUNS and RIPPLING MUSCLE.
No, but really... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND IT REALLY BOTHERS ME THAT ITS RIPPED! ....I think it's because there might have ALREADY been a small, unnoticeable tear at the seams prior........???

You don't need a new seat, it's not cheap but you can get just the leather seat covering through honda. Or you might try taking it to an upolstery shop and seeing if the seam can be repaired. In my exp. tho it never looks quite the same and the seam is never as strong as it was the first time.

Soory about your luck, and best wishes on a speedy resolution.

Boney Knees??? I wouldn't kneel on leather. I could cause it to stretch or in your case rip.

It's a 5 minute job to remove the seat.. Remove it next time and vaccum down there while your at it

Wow that sucks. I'm sure an upholstey shop should be able to sew around the torn seam and fix the leather. Good luck.
