1. would suede be a possible option in the future?
2. would you consider making a cell-phone pocket insted of a V1 pocket?

Check the Valentine 1 web site for the dimensions of the unit. I think it will to too large for a garage door opener or cell phone.

We have plans for suede right now.

 

I would like to see one that can hold an i-Pod.

Rick perhaps you can make a model with a standard snap setup that optional leather carriers can snap into such as an i-Pod holder, other radar detector holder or even a cell phone holder.

 

Rick, would sunglasses fit in this pocket or is it too narrow.

How about making a model that would hold my binoculars and Roger Tory Peterson Field Guide to North American Birds? Oh, and also a bottle of #45 sunscreen.
