Default Leather Wrapped Mirrors

This isn't a new idea, Porsche has this as an option and they have aftermarket products as well

Anyhow, has anyone like Rick put any thought into making leather exterior mirror covers? They look amazing on the 911 etc and it would probably add even more style to the S2000.

If its been thought of and poopoo'd then forget I even mentioned it..if not then someone with some talent make them for all of us...especially yellow.

Colgan makes them. You can get them thru Top Notch Auto, who is a site sponsor BTW.

Perhaps you could post some pictures. This doesn't really sound very attractive to me.

I've had them on my car for some time and I really like them. It looks nice on the black as it keeps them understated. I got the idea from looking at the ones on the 911s. Mine came from Colgan and cost about $30 for the pair if I remember right.

I agree with lvs2k. Please post a pic as this does not sound appetizing to me either.

Wouldn't leather covers on the exterior side mirrors get messed up pretty quickly?
