Default Left over '07

Currently I'm looking at a black 2007 S2000 that has sat on the dealer's show room for at least a year. The battery is dead so I couldn't get the mileage, but the salesman said very low (whatever that means).

I did a search and couldn't come up with a current post concerning new '07 prices. Does anyone have any input as to what this thing should go for?

Thanks for the help.

Edit: The car is NEW

Don't have a clue, I'm hoping they want to get rid of it though.

I bought my 03 in april of 04. I would think you could get that for around 27k or so. If he took it to auction it might do 26k. Be firm with them, but fair and they will work with you. Do not be obnoxious, he knows what it is worth real money. good luck!!! If you do buy it, find out if and when they rdr'd it(retail delivery date) you should still get full warranty from them when you pick it up for 3yrs or 36k.

Get them to swap in a battery and check the mileage. If it's under 20 miles, I'd go for under 27.5 + tax and title. I think you could do under 27 easy. Mine in October last year was 27.7 + tax and title. It's 7 months later and 08's are out too. I' saw local dealers clearing out 07's here under 27 + fees, and I live in a higher demand area too.

I was in a rush for an appointment so I didn't get to talk , the salesman mentioned 30ish. 30 seemed high for a car thats a year old.

Apollo, there is basically no demand here. In fact he said they hadn't started in it ~3-4 months.
