legal help (long)
ok, heres the story. so i bought my s2000, i was happy, it was a good time. i removed my front license plate completely and the outline of it was on the paint, so obviously they repainted it and slapped it on when it was wet. then i hit a curb. so my school car show is coming in a couple weeks, so why not, i send it with my friend up to his house to have him repaint it. i asked him to do the bumper, and i had a rust spot on my fender, so he said he'd redo that too. He calls me a day later and says that basically the front half of my bumper is bondo, which sucks because i ordered a veilside lip and now can't put it on, due to the bumper being to flimsy cause its made of bondo
he also said there was bondo on my fender. i got really depressed and talked to my parents, and we asked the dealer when we bought it, has it ever been in an accident? they said no, so we went home and did a carfax, no damage report.
Last night i went to dennys with my friends and met a kid who just happened to have worked at the dealer my car was sold at. I asked him about it and he told me when he saw it the front bumper was messed up, and they were taking it to fix it. Now, i don't know what to do. Can i confront the dealer? if so, what should i ask for? will they do anything? any help is greatly appreciated, as i feel like ive been hardcore cheated. thanks guys, any info helps.

I think you might legal recourse, but I think the cost of doing so would far outweigh getting a new bumper for it.
That is, if your witness is credible, and you can PROVE that the car was taken to be repaired, i.e. the place where it went to go get fixed, etc.
But like I said, the cost of hiring an attorney would be too much I think.
