You get what you pay for.

My friend ordered one of those cheap ebay intakes...biggest POS ever. It had openings for tubes that the car didn't even have. It rattled. It never mounted properly. The "stainless steel finish" got all cloudy after a while.

If you buy a 30k car, I think you can afford an intake that is more then 20 dollars

If it seems too good to be true on ebay, it usually is.

 

Only a guess as to how the s2k CAI mounts, but it LOOKS like one of those that hangs the bare filter element low in the egine bay. If so, beware. Hydrolock.

I had one like this for about a week then i went S/Ced. It was nothing special but it sounded cool. Mine came from Ebay also.

 

I have the bomz intake from ebay.. same as a AEM, except for the filter, but i bought a K&N and it works great

 

Why on earth would you want to put something like that in your car..?

Most gain you'll get from CAI is 3, maybe 5HP, ..imagine how good the stock one is.
