Default Less than 3 weeks...ding! :(

I just noticed a ding on the rear quarter panel right at the top where it flattens out a bit (right next to the weatherstripping for the convertible top). I don't know how I get one there, for it would be very hard for someone to hit me there with a door. Is this area accessible from the trunk by any chance? I'm probably going to take it to a Dent Wizard that's in the neighborhood.

What pisses me off the most is that every time I look in the side rear mirror, it's just right there staring back at me! Thanks for any info.

DOnt know how it got there, but you can just take it back to the dealershipo and get some work done on it to repair it, or send it to your mechanic, dents are gonna happen whether you like it or not, but I would try to eliminate the problem ASAP, and when parking, try to find a spot with plenty of room or park where there are not many cars, like at the back usually..

yea i have all these crazy tactics of where i park at school... i'll try to get a spot at the corner where only ONE guy can ding me.. and i'll park over the line so the guy has more space to open their door, and i'll make sure that if the guy parks head-in, that his driverside opens on the OTHER side, and hope he doesn't have a passanger, that way no dings.. yet even when i give em space, some ppl just take the time to park over the line too and still manage to ding my door. i've also been hit n run twice at school =-T.. and i hate the ppl who know they're gonna ding ur car, yet still do it! like this one time i was sleeping in my car, and this guy parks next to me like super close, and doesnt bother to adjust.. i woke up hearing his car.. anyway, so he's about to get out his car like he's in a rush, and he sees me sleeping... and then he closes his door and gets back in.. then he looks all impatient, he looks at his watch, i figured he was late to class, so he struggles to get out of his car without dinging my door... if i weren't in there i'm sure i woulda had a hugeass ding.. bleh *just venting*

I have the best Tactic when I go golfing with my buddies, I just take up two parking spaces, I mean I literally go inbetween both lines, so that way no one can park on either side, and if they do, they cant get really close since you have bothareas covered , dunno if it is legal, but nobody checks or naything around there, and I am young, so I can just say that it is my first time parking, sorry...

haha yeah, I dont try that in Public areas like the mall or anything like that, but the place has plent of spaces, which nobody uses, and cops dont come buy to inspect becasue there is realy no need to at a golf course... What I culd also do is bring a can of paint to wherever it is I am parking and just paint reserved on the spots, that way no one can park beside me, muhahahah

I wouldn't try the two space tactic cause i been tempted to key someone's car because they did that. Why do we deserve two spaces? just park away from people. A few extra feet of pavement does the body good. Be considerate and don't draw attention to your car and people will leave it alone...

About the parking far away from everyone thing, believe me, I personify that practice. I'm usually parked a ROW or two over from anyone else, rain, snow, doesn't matter. The more I look at it, the more it seems that this may have been there since the first day I bought it. Well, I'll take a look to see if you can get to it from the trunk area. Thanks for the entertaining replies.
