Default Let the pillage begin.

I order the minimum require items for drain washer and a bunch of oil last week from the Go Fast Lab and they broke it down into two orders for some reason with a COMBINED TOTAL OF 40$$$$$$$$$$ for shipping for something that doesn't weigh 15Lbs. This will be the last time I order from them.

Tech2 did the same thing to me in march charging me 115$$ to ship all three Mugen cooling parts, APR mirrors and a cusco catch tank. They had good prices till the shipping got added in.

I waste alot of money on next day air and I don't mind the cost because I have little patience but this is rediculous.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

When I've ordered from Hardtopguy, he's always combined seperate parts into a single package.

I ordered two CG-LOCKs from the s2ki marketplace and they got shipped in one package. Haven't ordered anything else from there.

Just about anything I have purchased for my car from performance items to fluids I've purchased from Go Fast Lab and I've never gotten anything but the best service form JP and Rylan. I've seen how they run their business and many times I've seen them go out of their way for their customers. They are both top notch people and it's a top notch company to deal with.

1st of all, nice of you to call or email us asking if there was an error in the shipping quote you received. We always appreciate the public bashing right off the bat, it makes it makes it so much easier to deal with when problems occur.

I don't have any clue what your ordered, when you ordered it or if you're even a customer of ours but since you're a member here I'll assume for one minute you're not just trolling. We have support via phone and email if you have any questions but clearly that's too hard to deal with.

Since you mentioned minimums for washers, you didn't see on the site were you can elect to have washers added to oil orders without minimums and get just the quantity you need...or did you select NO to washers (not the default) and then buy the washers separately? It makes a huge difference as shipping them with oil can all be done in one package but when you select them separately if creates an order that goes to our OEM distributor as a separate and increases the shipping accordingly. Of course had you asked us about it, it would have been an easy fix...instead we get this.

In the future, please address customer support issues to us via email at support @ gofastlab.com or fill out the form on our site. It's the only way we can properly track and attend to requests in a timely fashion. Of course if you just want to flame away, have at it, but expect to be treated in kind.

J.P.

Yea, Im not too happy about their shipping prices. Whatever, competition rules, so Ill probably shop elsewhere until they drop their shipping.

Whoa, JP - I understand your frusteration and a public flame always suck but as a vendor you should not take it personal and help resolve the situation and make the purchaser feel a little better about buying from you guys! I have bought from you guys in the past and will continue to but as hard as it is sometimes remember repeat business is always good
No problems with me but I thought your response was a bit harsh!
You offered assistance but you need not be sarcastic to your members - That will certainly drive customers away! Again, No beef with you guys- I have always had good experiences with you and Go Fast Lab

BUT...the thread starter could (and probably should) have handled this differently too. A simple phone call, PM or email to JP would likely have resolved this issue to the buyer's satisfaction. I've dealt with JP several times now. He's good people, and has always done right by me.

Moral of the story: A little tact goes a long way.
