S2000's are ofcourse potential victims to rain fall due to their nature. Rear wheel drive, dry weather performance tires, horsepower spike at around 6k rpm, etc... One thing that I have learned, (and sometimes the hard way) about Hondas with Vtec is when it's a downpour outside, stay out of Vtec. I find otherwise that the car still had ample traction in straight line accelration, and braking. Now ofcourse that doesn't mean rompping through the gears, and slamming on the brakes kind of traction, but certainly enough to pull ahead of most of the crowd at a stop light. What I have noticed the S2000 needs very special care with during rain is turns. Very low gas if any should be used. Make slight adjustments according to your mods and there shouldn't be any reason why you should be a reason why all other S2K's became that much more rare to own... For me the S2K is a daily driver, for those of you who have the luxury of bringing out the SUV during inclimate weather, more power to you, but for those of you that have to use you S2000 more often than not, please take caution... Have a good one!

Wow, it hasn't rained in the UK in a while?! That is unusual. Meanwhile it's pouring here in Southern California. It's cold here by Californian standards. It damn near 42 degrees F. brrr I agree. Bring on the Summer...

42 degrees? That's about 8 or 9 degrees Celcius I think - a positive heat wave in comparison to our temperatures currently.
Today in London - 3degrees Celcius and overnight below freezing) and we still put the roof down (occasionally )

When it pours, I just take out the beater car. I did that today when I went to lunch.

You just have to be real smooth in the rain. Just take it easy.

I don't know what has happened to me. I grew up in Toronto Canada where teperatures with the wind chill can be 50 below zero. I guess I have softened up over the years. Just don't tell anyone ok.
