anyone with the titanim one thats been heated so it has all the different colors on it

I have the titanium Voodoo. I don't think you buy it for looks - doesn't look as good as the OEM one or the OEM titanium one, but it fits great. It must be sit a good inch shorter. It makes shifting more fun when you rest your arm on the console.

I haven't heat treated mine, but your post makes me think it would be worth a shot.

about metal shift knob.... its so hot in TX, if you park outside when you are at work... you cant really drive your car right away!! The knob is so hot..

Good to know - I live in NOLA and am moving to Houston next year...

any other knobs worth thinking about?? The OEM is just too common...

Don't want to hijack this thread, but has anyone tried both the aluminum and titanium Voodoo knobs? I have the aluminum and it just feels too light- the shifting effort is quite heavy. Is the weight difference that great between the two in terms of feel?

no worries - I have the same question. I think the aluminum Voodoo is the same weight as the OEM (ti?) knob...

My only other question would be for those with the shift pattern etched in - how do you make sure its threaded correctly so that pattern is straight? From what I read the knobs just screw in...

Just in general, what's the lowest shiftknob around? The Voodoo Ti? I'm interested in a Voodoo Aluminum. Is that just as short?
