I thought the standard wave was "V" for VTEC?

That's what I always do.

I think the "Peace", "Vtec" sign works. Two fingers up in a "V" or for "2K" whatever you think. More universal and if they don't know about it then it's not as offensive.

I was confused for a sec until i realized he meant wave...uh...why not just raise a hand or smile or something...I like saying "hey, nice ride" to other owners at stoplights, it usually gets a smile.

Old ladies in S2000s never acknowledge me in my S. Either they don't get it or they think they're getting hit on all the time.

Or I am just plain ugly

What we oughta get on this site is some kind of default spellcheck, tho - sigh- it wouldn't have prevented "waive" for wave.

Reading some of these posts reminds me of the climax of Elmore Leonard's "Rum Punch," when a clot of beseiged gangbangers are struggling to read the instructions on an rpg so they can fire it at the oncoming fbi: "ree ree lee ass ee, re-lee-ss release the p-p-p-pro-pro-tec-t-tective co-ver cover..." As an agent plants his size 12 on the thug's neck, he comments "Maybe you should have finished the 6th grade..."

I'm a waver too, I vote for the "V" for VTEC. Who knows, we might even promote whirled peas while we're at it!

IMO I don't think some peeps get it. There was one last year, I waved at about 5 times. Finially after honking, flashing brights, and waving she felt I drew enough attention to wave back, or thought I was crazy. Heck, I will give a little 'nod' to anyone I pass and catch each other looking at one anothers car
