Default License Plate Blocker

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has any license plate blockers. They have alot of red light camera's around where I live and wanted to have some added protection. I saw some listed online but thought of an easy idea which I can get for pretty much free. Has anyone used a 3m privacy filter for an lcd monitor on the license plate? from around 20-30 degree angle, you cant see squat. From behind, it looks normaly..

What do you think.

Its not like I like to purposely run them, but sometimes driving a bit fast you get in that situation that you either push it or brake really hard. Sometimes you make it on the yellow, sometimes on the red.

Either the city installs a countdown timer like in some states OR remove those effin

redlight cameras.

They cause more accidents and makes money for the city. IT NEVER had anything to do with safety.

They recently installed a bunch in my area too ... not like I'm flying either but DAMN this is going to cause mee to run through brake pads. IComing up to the intersections where I know they are I've basically established "points of no return" where I know from there I'm going, no matter if the light turns or not.

we petitioned to take them down in our city,
so they removed them

greatest thing ever. people kept getting tickets for taking a right while red.

I got one in my car the other day!

It was no turn on red and I was past the line but stopped...

so I fought it and they deemed me not guilty!

wtfff man there needs to be a stop to this....

I'm honestly waiting for someone to get flashed in the face by one of those things and it causes a major accident (they are bright as hell) and then the town gets sued and they realize how stupid it is.

oh btw I think in the town of Hempstead (Long Island) a ticket is 50 bucks.

i agree that the redlight cameras are dumb, but i do believe that the license plate covers are illegal. so more than likely you will get pulled over for this a lot more often than you would for obeying traffic lights... which would be never if you obeyed the traffic lights...

^Ditto, don't give cops any excuse to stop you, even for chicken shit, ticky tack reasons.

Anybody try those photo blocker sprays? Seems like a low key solution, of course so does driving cautiously.
