Default License plate bracket

I dont rock a front plate
BUT i have seen brackets for the S2000 and they allow you to angle the plate down...WHY?!
Why would you want it facing down?

Having it angled down from the top lip of the bumper will allow more air to be channeled into the radiator. This should help keep the engine cooler as you drive.

It also lessens the frontal area of the plate.
(Probably not enough to make any real difference though. )

One way you can benefit from this is.....

When a cop radars you, he has to aim the gun at a reflective point. In essence, the radar beam has to shoot back to the gun to give him your speed reading.

If he aims it at your plate, that is angled. It will not return back to the gun to give the gun the reading.

This is just one of my assumptions. I am not sure if it really works, just thinking out loud.

I have the Rick's one in the garage in case I ever get a ticket and need to put on my plate. I think it lessens the look of the plate. Not a lot obviously, but enough. Plus, I also think it will help put more air into the opening than the regular plate.

I HEAR YA ON THE RADAR THING BUUUUUUUT DO YOU REALLY THINK COPS HAVE THAT GOOD OF AIM?

Plus if they are shooting you from an angle(side of the road) i think the laser would reflect at 180 degrees the other way and not back to the car. kinda like a laser pointer and a mirror...thats what im thinking but i could be wrong.

More air to motor...kinda cool kinda cool

The radar will reflect back to the gun even if you have no plate at all. An angled plate will have NO effect on whether you are 'stealthy' or not.

Even LAZAR will get you and that has to be aimed at 1 specific car at a time.
