My wifes last "fix-it" ticket for tinted front windows was $140. Mine (for a missing front plate) was over $3,500 with the lawyer fees.

$3500?!?!? Did you also shoot the cop as well? Wow, what was the actual offense? I can't believe it was a simple "Improper display of tags."

sounds like you got pulled over for a front plate and ended up with a DUI

A single ticket in 1 year and 8 months? It's only $41-43 here in NJ. Just pay it and go another year. Small price to pay for no front plate...at least in my opinion.
I got one in Ohio a couple of months ago and it was $100.

My point is that you better make sure that everything else involved with your vehicle is legal if your going to run without a plate. It is one of law enforcements favorite reasons to justify pulling someone over to check for other infractions.
