I have seen this done on a couple of s2k's before. I hate the front plate on the car but i dont want to remove it all the way. Is there a kit? Are people using zip ties? Any help would be great!
just drive without it. i've driven without a front plate for 5 years but other states and cities are stricter than others. ours if you get pulled over is a fix a ticket which invloves no points on your record.
i used zip ties on the plastic grill. it's centered perfectly. i like this look better than the mounting bracket for the plates. and another plus is that it was free!!!
I had it located in the grill when I use to live in NY. I NEVER saw more than 3 bars on the temp. gauge. I know that it's not a "real" gauge, but according to the insturment panel, my car never once overheated. You will be fine.
I thought about doing the same thing, but didn't because of this very reason. Plus I want my son to be intercooled S to get a lot of fresh air.
I just purchased an evo license plate holder and plan to mount it this weekend. I think it'll look very good off to the corner of the bumper.
Out of curiosity, how does the EVO license plate relocater mount onto the corner of the bumper? Do you have to drill holes?
I was thinking about doing the same thing, but the idea of having bumper plugs in the front and a license plate on the side doesn't seem appealing to me.

Yes you would have to drill two holes wherever it is you decide to mount the plate holder. I've yet to do it, and am weighing my option. I did however mount it on with tape just for reference and it looks really good. Now I just need a good day to get it done.
