Lifespan of engine belts

This replaces 38920-PCX-004 and 38920-PCX-014,

The OEM is a Bando Rib Ace made for Honda. If your belt says this on it you're probably fine.

FWIW, here's the difference when I replaced the 19-year old (!) belt on my '00.

Before: indicator well past spec (lower indicator far to the right of the normal-wear region)
Old belt wear indicator

After: Pretty close to the max-tension point (lower indicator nearly at the far left of the normal-wear region)


But yeah, there was no noticeable difference in how the engine runs.

My engine was a tad quieter at idle with the new belt..
