lightweight rotors

We will soon offer a complete set of rotors,drilled and grooved very light.
More info and pictures later.
We are expecting the first set to be arriving soon.

Is this mainly a cosmetic upgrade. Less rotor mass normally means more prone to fade and warping. Cross drilled ones are also more prone to cracking under heavy use.

s2ktaxi;these rotors will not be only a cosmetic upgrade;
when I wil give you all the info you will understand.
Rotors will be installed on Greg car;he do a lot of track time.

I agree with you that drilled rotors are more prone to fade,but you should know that not all the drilled rotors are the same...........

Luis; no ceramic(still too expensive) but very light yes.I will have by the first days of the week more info.
One the material used; ERGAL.

Having done a brief search of "ergal", ergal seems to be a high strength aluminum alloy previously used in defense, aerospace industry, etc. It is about 1/4-1/3 weight of steel and can be anodized. If it oxidizes, it will not have a rust color, since it is based on aluminum. Nice. We'll see how it does as a brake rotor. Hopefully it will do well.

Here's a picture, even though it's small, the S2000 application will have the slotted and drilled one on the left and the center cap piece will come in a variety of colors to suit your taste...

Can't wait for these bad boys!
