Limited slip differential
am i having a differential problem since my tires are wearing very unevenly (my right is worn alot more than my left? or is it because of the way i'm driving? i also notice that when i floor it in 1st gear, the car pulls to the right side strongly.
I don't know why you're right rear tire is worn more than your left. I've had the same thing happen to me though, and I suspect that 90-degree righ-hand turns at an intersection creates a larger turning radius difference between the left and right wheels than left-hand turns, and possibly causes more tire slip for that inside right rear tire.
In any case, the pulling to the right during acceleration is because your right rear tire has a smaller circumference then the left. During steady-state driving it can cause accelerated wear on the LSD (hence why you never put the compact spare on the rear) but it also causes the rear wheels to act sort of like a cone when you accelerate and the LSD starts to do its thing. Depending on how worn your rears are, either get a new full set, or just replace the worn one.
