Okay I must say I love my S2000 but I must also say that it hasn't been perfect. I've had a few little annoying problems that you normally wouldn't expect from a Honda. First it was the driver's side window rattling when it's rolled down and I hit bumpy roads. Secondly, I've also had my Catlytic converter replaced because it was making a really loud ticking sound when the car was running. Then it was the top ticking and still trying to get mechanic to look at it. Let me know if any of you out there have had any of these experiences with your s2000.

I have never had any troubles with my S yet *knock on wood*

 

I got some tick-tack noise from the top(mostly in a cold whether), but other than that she's been so good to me!

 

My car is a 2003 with about 3,300 miles. I love the car, and knew there were known characteristic problems with the veh. My list includes.

- Wear int he soft top (@ 3300 miles!!)
- Intermittant stalling when cold
- Ticking noise from the roof track right over my left ear.
- Vibration in the driver door panel from music bass
- Intermittant grind when transmission is cold

 

my S is too slooooow

 

top creaks a bit. other than that no biggie. oh yeah my master switch for my drivers side window was busted once but dealer replaced it for free.

 

Every time I put the top up the the latch on the left side doesn't line up properly. That really bothers me........ like a itich i cant get to.......

I also had deep scratches in the plastic pieces behing the head rest at delivery..... had them replace it. I am going to see if they can adjust the left latch the next time I take it in.....VERy PiCkY.
