Default little kids and S2000 comment

Anyone had something like this happen?

I was leaving the g/f's apartment yesterday after picking her up to take her to see a fireworks display. We were driving along and there was a gourp of kids on bikes, prolly around 10 years of age. When I drove by, one of the kids yelled "Hey nice porsche" My g/f and I both smiled and got a laugh... Children can be cute!

Hey Squeezer, do you own a black stook? I have a red one and I played with a black stook about 6 weeks ago on Lakeland Drive. Is that you?

This happens to me all time!!! Especially in my mother's neighborhood where there are lots of kids. It's funny to hear a lil kid say " tight car" or "dope a$$ ride "!! I guess I didn't expect kids to know slang at such a young age. It will be interesting what kind of slang will be around when my son comes home from school one day!!

Squeezer,

I went to a cruise with my girlfriend last week, loads of people about. I pulled slowly out of a junction so that the onlookers could get an eyeful of the car, some guy shouts out,

"Nice car mate, better girlfriend though!"

Made my girlfriends week, decided I am a lucky guy with two nice things to show off

I had a pretty funny experience with a kid's comment at a car show I was at a few weeks ago. I had the car parked with the top down and this young kid around 10 or so peeks into the car and looks at the dash and says "Awww man this one only goes 90. Man, that sucks!" LOL! Obviously he didn't realize that he was looking at the numbers on the tach and not the speedo.

I always have kids looking at the car and saying nice things about it. However, here in LA, we must have more sophisticated types of kids, because almost all of them know that it's an S2K. Maybe it's becasue we have more of them here and we also are know for our car culture.

Two kids on the corner yesterday were staring as I drove by. The only word that came out of their mouth I could hear was, "Porsche".

Leaving work yesterday I went down to the parking garage using the stairs. A coworker of mine was returning to work with his young kid in tow. As they were walking to the elevator they couldn't see me coming out of the stairwell. But I could see and hear them both as they walked by my car. "Wow! Who's car is that? Come on lets go inside. But who's car is that?"

When the coworker finally saw me, he waved. He normally doesn't give me the time of day. But he had to look good in front of his kid.
