Default A little rant

I was cruising today and i notice this porsche riding my but, so as soon as we get to a straight he guns it and flys past me. My point is that why do people always associate hondas as being the rice rocket trouble starters when in retrospect were all the same; just loving driving. turn the situation around and i flew past this porsche i would be this stupied rice rocket honda trying to pass him. Thanks for hearing me out. Peace

Forget all the haters and just drive your s2k, I had a kid about 17 on the side of the road walking say "Shitty Honda" while I was passing by top down, and all I could think of was how could someone hate a car they could possibly never own or have never driven. But at the end of the day just know you own an s2000 so just drive forget everything else.

Sounds like your putting words in people's mouths. "I stomped on the gas and flew past a guy so he MUST be calling me a rice rocket trouble starter"

The "ricer flyby" is when your racing someone, you beat the person and slow down, they continue AFTER the race is already over, and fly past you, then turn around and say that beat you. Huge difference.

Unfortunately when some people see the Honda emblem, they instantly associate the s2000 with every Civic driven by a teenager with a coffee can exhaust tip, mismatched body kit and park bench wing. Another group of people (rednecks that drive only "amurican!" vehicles) automatically hate any small import car. Then you have the people who are just hating on the s2000 because they are jealous. Whatever the case, I bought the s2000 because I love driving it... no skin off my back for the people that don't like it.

You live in Ontario?

People always associate BMW's as certain types of people too, just seems to be what Honda got.

totally agree with all you guys. For liquid i meant if you own a porsche or any other high end car it's like you have free reign to be an idiot and ride my but etc... if you catch my drift.
In the end, i dont care what people think or say; i just think it's funny how people are sometimes. For example, i was talking to this guy at my gym and he drag races a vette, so he was talking about this rice rocket who was dragging him at the track and making fun of the honda and i thought he was going to say it ran a 15 or somthing like that, well it ran a low 10 sec 1/4 and he almost runs the same time but yet the honda is a "dumb rice rocket" I just dont get it.

Yah i live in Ontario

One time i was pulling into a gas station and this kid in a rusted VW Golf screamed "did you get that in a cereal box"? I just loled to myself knowing that my tires cost more than his car. People usually hate on things they can't have.

Why is it that Honda owners assume, because someone else is speeding around them, that they clearly want to race them; and couldn't possibly just be in a hurry or just a douchebag?
