I brought my car in yesterday for brake bleed, clutch bleed, and Oil change. when I got my car back the clutch and brakes felt better however it didn't have the normal good feeling of new oil, and my car was ticking and sluggish like it was befor ei took it in. today I took my car out and thought it shouldn't be running this bad so I decided to go and buy more oil and swap out the oil I gave honda to put in. after draining out the oil that honda supposidly put in yesterday it looked like really dirt water it had no oil integrity anymore. so now i am thinking honda charged me for an oil chnage but didn't do anything and I brought in 6.4 Liters of full synthetic and thy only gave me half a liter back? this honda I was dealing with I has been treating me like crap since day one. last time I brought my car in for servicing they told me it would be done within the hour and that they would call me when they were done. it took 4 hours and they never called me. I had to rent a car to drive my friend to the airport :S. so in the last 24 hours I have spent 130$ on oil, and don't know if they even changed the oil filter. I want to make a complant but I don't know where to make it not only on the shotty work but on the serivce.

Ps one time they got oil all over my engine bay, like all over the valve cover. the last time they got grease on the inside of my door and on my carpets. also they drove my car a good 10KM's

I am not too impressed right now.

thanks for your time

I can suggest dealing with a new Honda dealership in your area or file a complaint with the Service Manager. Be civilized and have him explain how the service was done and why it appeared to be "dirty" oil or whatever in your system.

But now that you've changed it your sort of screwed. Go back and give it a shot but more likely than not you won't get anywhere. Option 1 may be better.

Let me see if I understand the situation: they treat you like crap and you keep going back for more?

Seriously, find a new place to get your car serviced if the dealership treats you that badly. Unless you have a CPO warranty, which by now is little more than powertrain, you don't have to worry about voiding the warranty.

Why don't you change your own oil? It's very easy. Besides, I love doing most of the maintenance myself - gives me a sense of pride. Also, when you do maintenance yourself, you don't have to worry about some grease monkey messing up your car.

I ended up having to change it myself. I dont' normally do it because I live in a condo and it is a pain in the ass that isn't worth the 20$ that honda charges. the reason I take my car to honda still is because I figured they wouldn't mess up a simple oil change. But I don't think I will be going there again I am very unhappy with there service.

PS if they didn't change my filter should I worry about it will it last 1000KM?
