I went througha loan process with my bank at wells fargo. They will run ur credit and if all goes well, it can be done that same day and they can cut u the check. I'm taking it u want to get a loan for a car.... If so, they are gonna ask if u are going through a dealer or private party. If you are going to make a down payment.... Whether u are going to secure the loan with collateral, like the car ur purchasing, or something else.

They will also need the dealer or private party's information, phone number, VIN number, year and make of the car. I think i got most of it, but thats basically it. You will also have to choose how long the term is. Shop around though. Don't settle for one bank. See what rates u can get from other banks. The best i heard is to get a loan through a credit union cause u get the best rates.

After all is well, i went through a dealer, and the bank cut me a cashier's check to take to the dealer, so its like paying with cash. Using this, u can bargain the price real low with the dealer. Just dont tell them u are financin through them. Tell them u are going to buy it straight up. I was able to know $3k off the asking price for my car when i got it. Good luck.

The best place to get a personal loan is Credit Union, but you have to be a member first. Interest on personal loan is fairly high, several percentage higher than interest on a car loan, but still a lot less than credit card's interest.

It is not my business about how you use your money, but I think you should reconsisder borrowing money to mod your car. Borrowing money for college tuitions is one thing, borrowing money with high interest to mod your car is not very wise.

this uncalled for,and unnecessary.!!!
Best thing to do,is get a personnal loan, from the financial institution, where you do most of your business.
You don't have to tell them,it's to mod your car.

If he doesn't know where to apply for a loan, I'm guessing he doesn't DO much business.
