My friend told me about this alarm and how effective they can get. How good are these and how much do they run? I am very curious so please someone help!! Thanks

 

It's not an alarm...it's like a locator beacon. If your car is stolen, you call Lojack and they turn on a radio transmitter that is installed in your car. The police have receivers that can then help them find it.

LoJack makes an alarm in addition to the locater device. They are two separate devices, so if you want one, you don't have to get the other. Don't go for the alarm. It coast more then others, and doesn't offer any more protection. I do recommend the locater though.
