I tryed to buying a 2004 s2000 at a dealership in raleigh, and unfortunately they just sold the other most of their stock so all they had was a dealer demo, that had 1650 miles on it. So im thinking no big thing its the managers demo, maybe i can get it for around 29600 witch is pretty reasonable since its got a few miles on it, and msrp is 29995, not even considering hold back....believe it or not the dealer wouldn't budge from more then 31500 (ie the cars direct price in my area) for a demo, despite the fact that they could make a killing on my car from a trade in

Are they strict on the break-in for demos? That would be another thing to consider because I'd imagine when most people try out the S they like to see what it can do..

i told them i would walk out the door with the car today, for 29600 and trade in value minus and 16000 k for a fully loaded gt mustang prem with every option, they offered me 14800 for my car and wouldn't come down from 31500, i think i might of gotten another 500 off the car, but nothing more......the retail value on my car(if they sold it is 21225) private party is 19500 and trade in was 16225.....mint cond 03gt with 18700 miles on it......the s2000 is untitled btw

yer best off trying to deal with a MANAGER. once you've talked to a salesman, you've LOST if you want a good deal. the manager will look out for the salesman, so don't try going around them once one of them "has" you. try autobytel or cars.com. state your best offer is 30995 (it IS) and ask if anyone can beat it.
