Default Long Awaited Update On The Body Werks Yellow S2k.

Hey all, it's been a very long time since I've posted here so I thought I would come by and say hi to some old friends.

For all who don't know how the hell I am, let me tell you.

My name is Larry Chachko, and I own Body Werks of Skokie, IL

I am more known on these boards as the one who bought and restored the countries first totaled S2000, formerley owned by Greg Stevens (Scarlett I)

I have also been the first one to do many things to an S2000, from 19" wheels, color change, NOS, Supercharger, ie.....

If you still don't know which S2000 is mine, it was featured in the June issue of Super Street, on June 29 it was featured on the WGN morning news, has graced the pages of many Import Tuner and Super Street mags.

As all who do know me quite well, know that I have been on the everlasting crusade to make my S2000 the fastest in the country.

Here is the long awaited update of my car:

custom mounted cd changer
1 piece fiberglass trunk
1 JL 10w6 sub
1 Xtant amp

We have recently received a written invitation for the car to be used in the upcoming Fast and the Furious 2, but I have not made my decision yet.

We have had a lot of problems getting the car down the 1/4 mile. We are constantly breaking drivetrain on every first run.

2 weeks agao, I broke an axle on my first attempt. This past weekend at Battle of the Imports, I broke 1st gear at only a 3000 rpm launch.

I will run the car this year, once we can fix all the drive line problems.

One more bit of news I would like to share.............

The car dynoed 430 HP @8800 rpm's last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay tuned,

Larry

I am curious to hear about what you plan on doing with the tranny??

Also, how do you claim fastest S2000, is that drag racing, dyno, or rad course?

Sure sounds like Larry likes to live his life "a quarter mile at a time"

BTW 430hp was that with nitrous? if so (since it's in your list) how big a shot that's the big question.
