1.5 years with MY07, DD, 12k on the car ... going to college this fall, so in 2012 it will probably still only have about 30k miles on it then.

This might be my last car and I am only 50 years old.

The S is parked next to my 1973 FIAT 124 Spider which I bought new in 1974, so that first line is no joke it could easily be my last new car. The FIAT is taking a well deserved rest and only comes out to play on the best days now, the S is daily driver.

^ I owned two of those Spiders way back when. I voted 6-8 years, since my two S's combined add up to that. The first one I had for five years (2001-2006), then traded it for the current one, which will be two years old in July. Love the S!!!(Mikey - click on the red Vintage badge at the bottom of my sig to see the forum we have for owners 40 and older. Of course, many younger members post there, too!)

Purchased mine 8 years ago this month. I have been considering selling it along with my DD to get a single, compromise vehicle. But every time I drive my cherry 2000 S2000, I just fall in love with it all over again.

Almost 5 years now.
It'll be paid off in a couple of months! WOOT!
And I plan on keeping her for as long as she'll run.

I plan on keep making the payments to myself and pay cash for a DD in a year or so and retire the S to "Happy Fun Time Car"

Almost 7yrs now and 88k miles. It's the longest I've ever owned a car. It's the only car that has kept me interested in driving it for that long.

2-1/2 years almost to the day (14th). Put 46k miles on it in that time and I have no desire to get something else.

I drove cross country in a new "Spider" back in 1973. What a great ride. Pininfarina styling, 5 speed, double overhead camshaft. I can't believe anyone would ever settle for an inferior P.O.S. like an MGB when they could have a real sports car for similar money.
