Default Longest Time Spent in VTEC

I have rarely stayed in VTEC longer then 15-20 seconds... usually no more then 5 seconds. Do any of you guys (track or street) stay in vtec for minutes at a time? How does the car take it?

15-20 minutes on the track. times that by 4 or 5 sessions in a day.

I'm sure there are lots of guys here that have spent much more than that in VTEC, too.

I've done it on the track(NA and SC'd) and on the Dragon for extended periods. This car is amazing. Simply amazing. Keep fresh fluids and proper levels, and you'll be fine.

I've been in VTEC for about 4 hours one night on a quick trip through Germany from Switzerland, only stopping for fuel!
