Mellow Yellow talked about commuting in the s2000, I'm wondering if anyone did really long trips across the country (whatever country that is).
I drove 3000km (how many miles?) each way this summer from france to greece & back, it took me about 3 days, and was a great way to discover the car's capacities (I bought it 3 days before leaving paris).
I must admit the adrenalin rush at the begining was exquisite, since on Italian motorways I could go as fast as I wanted, and neither the cops (too busy with mafia) nor my girlfriend (reading books at 230kph, not even worried about the speed...) hassled me!

That whole money thing is the catch. I spent a month all over Europe college style ... $5000. Throw a car on top of that. My godfather lives just over the board in Germany. Maybe I can borrow his Audi convt next year?

66MPH = 90KPH

Were not that slow in Canada. 100 km =60 miles. 3000 miles is 1800 miles

My longest drive was from Chicago to Asheville NC for the rally in April. Right at 2000 miles on the nose! And what a glorious 2000 miles it was!

I put 2500 miles on my car during my last vacation.

I went to Myrtle Beach, SC for a weekend, 500 mile round trip, plus local milage while there.

From there, I made a brief stop at home, and visited a friend in Waynesboro, PA for several days. That was about 900 miles round trip, and that doesn't count the trip to Hershey park and so forth.

My longest trip was around 9 hrs. from Greer, SC to Mansfield, OH for the Runoffs. About 600 miles one way. Oh did I mention it included my 8 year old son. He was pretty good considering the length of the trip.

Now Harvey Jr! Why is the S2000 outside in the snow while the old beater truck is nice and snug in the garage?
