Depends on who you ask. Most people want to differentiate their cars. Here in the US, people like the cleared out or Euro corners. In Japan there are some people that want the amber corners.

It depends on the car. The white and silver cars look great with the clear corners. The red cars look better with the amber.

I like the cleared out lenses. The JDM lights are nice, but I prefer the cleared out look.

well, it's what you can afford.

i have the clear-out corners on my car, but i'd prefer having the JDM ones - i just can't afford them.

sorry, but what's the difference between JDM and "cleared out" lights - don't they LOOK the same?

regards.

In Australia, S2000s are delivered with the JDM/Euro headlights. I actually think that the 'cleared out' version that you guys do over there looks as good, if not better. The JDM/Euro headlights still have a very slight orange-look to them.

If I lived in the US and had a stock S2000, the first thing I would do would be to clear out or replace the headlights.

I have a Spa Yellow on order. I will keep the amber because with the yellow I think the amber looks good. I will also keep the amber side markers for the same reason.

Aussie lights (same as JDM) have a vertical diffuser through the clear shell. On US models the diffuser is incorporated into the amber lens (which is subsequently removed). You can see it here in the following photo.

Cleared only because I don't want to spend the $ on the JDM ones.

Question for the Japanese/Aussie/Euro owners...can you buy just the clear diffuser?
