Default Looking at a 2002 S2K - Quick Question

I'm looking at a 2002 model and I'm hoping to join the S2Ki community in the near future. Was keyless entry standard on 2002 S2000's? I have a 2003 brochure that shows "Remote Entry System with Trunk Release" as a standard feature. Not sure if the 2002's should have it or not. The dealer tells me that it was not standard in 2002, but the accuracy of information the you get from salespeople often leaves a bit to be desired. They didn't have the remote, so they may just be trying to cover their butts...

Thanks in advance.

Keyless remote is standard. You should have a small device that fits on a key ring and locks/unlocks the doors and opens the trunk. And sales people wonder why we give them so much crap.

The knowledge level of car salespeople sometimes astounds me. The keyless entry was standard on 2002 (and all model years).

Tell the salesman that you'd buy that car in a heartbeat if it only had remote entry like the "newer" models, but since it doesn't, you'll just keep going to other dealers and looking at other kinds of cars. I'll bet it won't take too much time before the car "suddenly" has 2 remotes and 2 keys. Also, check the car over thoroughly and have the sale hinge on getting all the stuff done before the sale.
