Unless you plan on disabling your passenger airbag, I don't think you should put a child safety seat in.

What erd said. I am pretty sure it's in the owners manual somewhere that it isn't recommended.

It can be done, according to the manual, but they also recommend not doing it unless absolutely necessary.

Without a passenger airbag disable (which you can jump through some hoops to get), you run the risk of seriously injuring your young passenger in an accident if the bags were to deploy.

It's a high recommendation not to tote around anyone too small to fit in a full size seat in your car, at all. This is not a child car.

The site says that it uses the LATCH system for rear facing. The car is not equiped with the LATCH system for securing car seats.
