Looking for body shop in So Cal
Hello -
Well, my baby got hit. Not to much damage (luckily), but I still would like a reccomendation of a shop in the So Cal area (I live in Fullerton) to get my S back in perfect condition. Damage is on the passanger front fender, wheel, and front bumper. Anybody get any body work done in So Cal?

I'm not sure how far away you live from San pedro, but there's a place there that I've talked about a lot. they are one of the only authorized NSX repair shops around. It's called San Pedro Autobody. Talk to Frank there. I know they work on S2K's there too since I asked him about it when I took my prelude there to get fixed. His shop has an entire wing dedicated to NSX's. That's all you see when you go into that section.
Here's the info:
San Pedro Auto Body
789 West Battery Street,
San Pedro, CA 90731
(310) 831-8456
Ask for Frank. He did a great job on my Prelude.

If you don't already know of a good shop, call your local Porsche, Mercedes or Ferrari dealer and ask where they send their body work. Owners of these cars tend to be as particular or more so than S owners, although I don't know if that's possible. My dos pesos.
Hey, I own a Body shop in Va., there are certain things you want to ask of the shop. 1. Do they have a written lifetime paint warranty. 2.Do they guarantee a paint match. 3.Will they give a lifetime workmanship guarantee. 4. Will they repair the car to your satisfaction and not theirs or the insurance companies. 5.Tell them your going to be particular, but not a butthead, you just want the car back the way it was. 6. Any affiliation w/ paint manufact. programs tells you your dealing w/ a good shop. ex. PPG has an MVP program, Sikkens has A-coat, Dupont-has Assurance of Quality (AOQ). E-mail me if I can assist you in any way. Nick, yellow 2001
I had a crunch on my S2K, back and front, a while ago which was expertly fixed by a body repair shop on the same premises as the Honda Oxnard dealer. I don't suppose you'd want to drive this far from Orange, but if you are considering it, email me and I'll pass on the good stuff to you.
there are quite a few shops on Fremont Ave. in Alhambra that are pretty good. One that I went to have a lifetime warranty on their work.
There's also a very LARGE bodyshop in Santa Monica, they're pricey but you see lots of Porsches and Ferraris in their lot, and they are the only recommended place to go by all the nearby dealerships. I'll try and get the name for ya.
