I was just using that rpm as an analogy but yes, that makes sense, my point was just to stay away from hard launches. It's not a drag car lol

If your in Australia as in your signature, AP1 with the 9k rev is in all year models AP2 included and as stated 6 speed manual is as well. Some fuss over 06-09 having DBW but from experience this invalid. In short here in Australia we have the best of both worlds AP1 to AP2 refinements (some would argue) basically here all the AP2 05-09 changes are cosmetic. Price entry is vastly different to other countries the USA in particular, also limited numbers of good low Km''s clean examples.
