Default Looking for help for my Insurance Claim

I hope this is the appropriate place to post this type of question.

I have owned my S2K for a little over 2 years now and woke up the other morning and saw it under about 1-2 feet of water in my parking lot... Yea it sucks seeing your car like that

Anyway, long story short, the insurance company just declared it totaled today during the inspection of the vehicle. The car is in next to perfect condition and very tastefully modified.

My question to all of you is if you could please send me some info of your SOLD or just purchased S2000 that is similar in mods, mileage etc, as well as the selling price so that I can use it as leverage toward my insurance company to raise their offer, which im sure will be insulting. Here is a quick description of my car, so if you recently sold or bought something similar, please lend me your input.

Thank you so much, and I promise I will be discrete to other s2ki members.

Matt

Id try to remove the wheels and put the stock ones back on.

Also the hardtop if they will let you not sure if your insurance covers aftermarket parts.

Sorry for your loss

Yea, the top was already off of the car and inside, and I plan on keeping the wheels.

Unless you insured all the modded parts you put on they won't cover them. Need to pay lots extra to cover mods!!
Sucks though man. Best bet is to pull everything off that can be parted out before getting the check from them.

shit i got 9k for my car with a slashed top and no seats without getting totaled from state farm. They will prob give you close to 11k because its a 2000 ten year old car but it also depend onwhat insurance company you have some are not good and lowball you because they can. If your selling parts curious on prices and how much would you want for those side strakes as well as rims
