Default Looking for a stick on console protector

I just got a new center console - Last one was scratched up from buttons on jackets when I shift. I'd like to keep this one protected, so what are my options? Not really looking for a full dash kit, just something around the shifter.

thanx

Have you considered the piece of thin (8mil) 3M film? Cut out a square of it big enough to cover the outer circumference of your console piece. Cut out a hole in the middle of it to fit over the stick. Lower the thing down onto the console (might be nice to have 2 sets of hands). Press it all down onto the piece you are protecting and then with a very sharp X-acto knife or single edged razor, "score" along the edges and then peel the excess off.

I wear down the cluch pedal. I have a couple of the black rubbers missing. I suggest quitting your parafunctional habit of rubbing your buttons to the thing instead...J/K

use some rubbing alcohol and take all the paint off of it. I personally think it looks great.

Ok, let me clarify... I want a stick on center piece kit. I don't want to ruin my brand NEW console taking off the paint.

If someone wants my old console to do this PM me.
