Default looking at a used 2004. Have questions

I've been searching for a used 2004 S2000 for as while. Finally found one at a local Dodge dealership. I have a few questions, hope you can help.
- The car has a cold air intake (K & N) installed. The original intake is included (in the trunk). Does the cold air intake void the original Honda warantee?
- The car has Rick's "S" badges intalled. I'm not a fan, at all. Is it hard to change back?
- The passenager side door does not seem to shut correctly. When shut tightly the back edge of the door sticks out about 1/16". If I press on the door it goes in flush with the rear quarter panel but pops back out when released. Is this a simple adjustment or a sign of a possible accient? CarFax is clean.
- When cruising on the thruway the shifter shakes over bumps. Normal?
- Overall the car looks clean, runs strong & smooth. It has 13,000 miles. What do you think a good price would be? A friend of mine that works at the dealership tiold me that took the car in on trade for $24.4K. We have not talked price yet, I still need to bring my trade in & see what they can do.
- Any feedback would be appreciated.

Check the car properly, especially the door. Look for signs of accident. Check underneath for frame damage. If everything looks okay then try to find out why the door sticks out. Then negoiate on price. Good luck.

-Legally, an intake *shouldn't* void the warranty unless the dealer can prove that the intake caused the issue at hand. However, its not that simple and some dealers are better than others about this. Some have a BS blanket policy that a mod voids the warranty, while others are more lenient and will attempt to prove that the part caused the failure in question.

-Ricks badges should be able to be carefully "flossed" off with some fishing line, etc. However, there will be holes in the bumper from the pegs on the original badge, so you'll need to have a new badge handy to replace the rick's badge or you'll be driving around with holes in your bumper & trunk

-Check the care out carefully; there should be 10 VIN stickers, one on each body panel. Those are the quickest way to determine if the car has been worked on because replacement body panels either won't have or won't match the VIN stickers.
There are: 4 under the hood (one on each fender, one underside of hood, one on front bumper), 2 in each door jamb (one on the rear fender piece, one on the inside of the door), 2 in the trunk (one underside of trunk lid, one on the rear bumper)

-shifter shake is normal

One thing to look for:

The bolts that secure the front fenders run along the fender line under the hood. They are painted body color from the factory after installation. Tools will generally pull a little paint off as a dead giveaway the fender has been removed.

Obviously not the end of the world if the fenders been removed, but you'd want to know why or look more closely at things on that side.

Door out of alignment - although I've never dealt with it on an S, other cars have had doors come slightly out and a simple adjustment of the striker plate straightens everything out. Bigger problem if the door lines don't math though.

Good luck.
