Yup... we had a fuel frenzy in ATL yesterday... fist fights too. So glad the TL is easy on gas, and the Corolla/Motorcycle fuel isn't much of factor eiher...

Ok everybody...just because the pic is real doesn't mean it's representative.

Quotes from CNN as of now:

"Nationwide, the national self-serve unleaded average was $2.68 a gallon, AAA said on its Web site, increase of 6.1 cents -- and a record high."

"The price hikes were felt nationwide, with gasoline surging to $3.59 in Boston, $3.58 in Milwaukee and well above $3 in parts of New York."

"A CNN survey of 25 Georgia gas stations found an average price Thursday morning of $3.09 for regular gasoline."

So its bad, but not crazy $6/gallon bad.

93 octane here was $3.49 the last time I looked, supposedly prices are going back down.

Used to cost me $15 to fill up and now it costs me $30. Who cares, I'm still going where I want to go. Heh-heh might go easy on the throttle and stay out of VTEC though....

Could be worse, one of my buddies just called me from the VW lot, looking at trading his Tahoe in on a TDI Jetta. 27 gallon tank @ $3.09 per gallon @ 14 mpg = ouch.
